Hi there! I'm Jaehyung Jo
I am a Los Angeles-based transportation designer with expertise in automotive interior design. During my time at ArtCenter College of Design, I gained experience through internships at Honda, Volkswagen, Genesis and Gac. After graduation, I started working at Volvo for two and a half years, and now have started a new journey at Honda R&D Americas in Torrance.
I believe delivering new user experiences is a critical job for an automotive designer. With a desire for creating meaningful experience through design, my end goal is perfecting user-friendly interior designs which focus on customer convenience and usability. For each project, I keep thinking about how to maximize the user experience by constantly observing every little thing I experience in my daily life. My goal as a designer is to create designs that can truly provide assistance for the public and accurately deliver the message through harmony among the design thinking and with the most concise visual language. I would like to continue to imagine future spaces, take on new challenges, understand the needs of new generations, and share numerous unique works in the future.
